The Codes |
|
Most of my friends think that the codes are the most interesting part of the story. These codes play a key part in the series. Some of them aren't even decoded in the series at all...you have to figure them out on your own.
One of the most frequent questions I get is what the fourth paragraph is talking about. But I can't tell you. Sorry. You just need to guess and wait to see if you're right.
The most important code is not at the bottom; it's in the document. It is extremely important to decode this before reading the rest of the series. All I will say is this: the way to decode it is underlined.
Get it? Contact me if you figure the code out, and I'll tell you if it's correct.

Demetrius's Code
I am doomed to die this day,
But you can fix my life’s dismay.
One coded word was all I got;
A newfound hope was what I sought.
A hidden word within the text
Unearthed the gifts I now possess.
These powers thrive within my bones,
Destroying hope like death alone.
My time has come, I must depart.
My brain was gone, and now my heart.
A foolish life of mine I rendered.
Spent my time without a splendor.
The poem was not all I lost;
My time, a waste, at such a cost.
The Spirits are now lost, too,
Their powers are now lost anew.
I tried my best, but then I failed.
The secret still must be unveiled.
Its unseen powers stand untold,
To find these truths, you must be bold.
But you can fix my life’s dismay.

Now, since the truths are not yet revealed in the story, I will help get you started with this one by asking questions that you will try to answer.
1) What do you think Demetrius means when he says "the poem was not all I lost"? What poem?
2) What 'splendor' does he mean? God?
3) When he talks about the gifts he now possesses, does he mean his powers?
4) What are the Spirits? Is he talking about angels? Or something else that was mentioned several times in the text?
You're welcome, and I wish you good luck finding the secrets!
